Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant coach, David Ocloo, says his club is at the norming stage of development as a team.
He said this in a post game presser after leading Kotoko to clinch a 3-2 win over Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in the biggest clash in the Ghana Premier League.
While Ocloo picked out consistency as his team’s biggest strength in the crucial win over Kotoko’s arch rival, he added his team is still developing.
“Preparing a team, you know, it takes stages…This is the norming stage; all of them are accepting their role in the team that has been the difference. It’s not about senior players and young players.”
“It’s about the stages but this moment, we are at the norming stage that’s why you are seeing a total difference in our squad” he said in a post game press conference.
Beating Hearts is Kotoko’s fourth win in a row in the league and the Porcupine Warriors take on Real Tamale United on Friday, December 22 in the league.
