West Ham United manager, David Moyes, has picked out Ghana Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus as the “biggest spark” in The Hammers 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.
He said this in a post-game interview after Kudus scored in the win with the goal being the Ghanaian international’s fifth in all competitions since joining West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam.
The 23 year old Kudus scored in the 13th minute but Odsonne Edouard got the equalizer in the 53rd minute.
Kudus was happy with the goal but expressed his disappointment over his team’s inability to win all three points but the Right To Dream Academy product’s performance particularly in front of goal stood out to Moyes.
“Right from the start he caused Tyrick Mitchell, who is a good full-back, a lot of problems. He was probably our brightest spark and our brightest chance to get a goal. He scored a really good goal and it was a good move too, to get us the goal.”
West Ham ranks ninth and plays Tottenham Hotspurs next on Thursday, December 7 at 20:15 GMT.
