Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus continues to excel in his debut season in the English Premier League for West Ham United.
The former Ajax Amsterdam player scored his third league goal of the season as West Ham drew 1-1 with fellow London side Crystal Palace.
Kudus returned to the West Ham starting lineup after missing The Hammers 1-0 win over Topola in Serbia in the Europa League earlier this week after falling ill.
However, he made his return count in a big way as he swept Vladimir Coufal’s cross into the net with the ball coming off Palace defender Marc Guehi via a deflection.
Kudus’ 13th minute goal is the first he has scored with his weaker right foot in West Ham colours; David Moyes’ men failed to hold on to the lead with Odsonne Edouard equalizing for Palace in the 53rd minute.
Fellow Black Stars player Jordan Ayew played out the entire duration of the contest like Kudus with the draw leaving West Ham ninth and Crystal Palace in 12th in the league standings.
Kudus first hit the unique celebration after scoring a brilliant scissor kick goal against Brentford that got him nominated for the Goal of the Month Award in November.
