Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has high belief in his ability to excel at West Ham United and aid The Hammers win games.
He said this in a post-game interview after West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace in a London derby played at the London Stadium.
Kudus scored in the 13th minute for West Ham but Odsonne Edouard got the equalizer for Palace in the 53rd minute to prevent West Ham from bagging its fifth straight win in all competitions.
The goal is Kudus’ third in the EPL and fifth overall in West Ham colours since joining the team from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam.
Speaking on his goal to West Ham’s media channel, Kudus said, “It is always good to score early on in the game. It gives the team momentum and energy. It was a good time to score and a beautiful assist from Vlad also” and added
“I believe a lot in myself and I am putting in the effort every day to be the best. It is still the beginning for me, and I feel there is a lot more I can offer.”
West Ham takes on Tottenham Hotspurs in another London derby on Thursday, December 7 at 20:15 GMT at the Spurs Stadium.
