Bankroller of Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League side Berry Ladies, Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah, has been endorsed as Black Queens Management Committee Chair.

The endorsement comes in the wake of the announcement of a five member committee for Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team.

The administrator, who also serves on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council, supervised the Black Queens qualification to the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana beat Namibia 3-2 on aggregate to qualify to the upcoming competition after missing out on the 2022 edition and failing to progress from the group stage at the 2018 edition.

Aside occupying multiple roles in the football space, Dr. Oware-Mensah doubles as the Deputy Director of the National Service Scheme.

The Black Queens are set to compete in a series of 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualification games prior to the AWCON.
