Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman has landed on the transfer radar of West Ham United after impressing in his debut season in European league football.
Should he complete the move to David Moyes’ side, Osman would become the fifth Ghana player to play for West Ham. (Click highlighted text to read full story of previous West Ham Ghanaian players)
The youngster who turned 19 in November 2023, is courting serious transfer interest from The Hammers as the London side aims to complete a loan deal for want away Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips as well.
In his first year with Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland, the left winger has registered a goal and four assists in 16 league games while adding a goal in six UEFA Europa Conference League games.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the West Ham deal to sign Osman is in the region of 18 million euros.
16 million of that amount is expected to be paid to Norsdjaelland with two to three million expected to be paid as add-ons.
Osman has been reportedly linked to fellow English Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion.
All three EPL clubs have Ghanaian players on their roster with West Ham having Ghana’s in-form player Mohammed Kudus.
Should Osman land get picked up by West Ham, he will be the fifth Ghanaian player to play for the Hammers after Chris Hughton, John Paintsil, Andre Ayew and Kudus.
