Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been named the Man of the Match following his sterling performance in his debut game in the Emirates FA Cup.
The Ghanaian international scored the only goal of the game as Leicester City beat AFC Bournemouth to progress to the quarterfinals of the competition.
Issahaku’s scored the stunning goal in the 105th minute in extra time after receiving a pass from Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho and whipping the ball into far end of the post.
The goal was registered on his debut for Leicester City in the competition as he continues to play the one year loan deal from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
In 56 minutes, the Black Stars player completed 11 of 19 passes, connected on two of three long balls and made five interceptions.
While the contest against AFC Bournemouth was his debut in the FA Cup, the soon to be 20 year old Issahaku already has 28 Sky Bet English Championship games under his belt with three goals and nine assists.
