Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s impressive loan spell at Leicester City continues to get better with the 19 year old delivering another magical moment for The Foxes.
Issahaku scored a stunning goal in Leicester City’s fifth round FA Cup 1-0 win over AFC Bournemouth at The Cherries’ Vitality Stadium.
The Sporting Lisbon loanee came off the bench in the 64th minute as a replacement for veteran winger Marc Albrighton and scored in the 105th minute in extra time.
Issahaku received a pass from Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho and bent the ball beyond the reach of Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers after taking a touch.
The goal is Issahaku’s first of the season in the FA Cup while competing in the competition for the first time.
He has however bagged three goals and nine assists in 28 Sky Bet English Championship games for Leicester City at a time reports have linked the soon to be 20 year old to a permanent switch from Lisbon. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Leicester is reportedly in talks with Sporting over a 17 million euro deal for Issahaku. Fellow Black Stars player Antoine Semenyo replaced Enes Unal in the 46th minute for AFC Bournemouth.
