Deputy Ranking Member on the Trade, Industry and Tourism Committee and Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi Constituency, Yusif Sulemana, has slammed President Nana Akufo-Addo’s proposed football policy.

In his address to Ghana’s Parliament, President Akufo-Addo, highlighted the upcoming 13th African Games set to be hosted in Accra and his belief in Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew’s apology to Ghanaians following the Black Stars first round exit from the 2023 AFCON in Cote D’Ivoire. “In fact ever since he (President Akufo-Addo) took over, that has been his slogan that he is going to do something better and ensure that our team (Black Stars) is able to raise cups. Ever since, he came tell us, has he been able to win any cup”.

Honourable Yusif Sulemana

“Now that he is going out, now is the time that you are talking about building a team? What is important is that Ghanaians will not take this man serious.”
