Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu has stated that AS Monaco’s attention has already switched to its upcoming game.

Monaco is scheduled to play against French Ligue 1 defending champions and league leaders Paris Saint-Germain on Friday, March 1 at 20:00 GMT.

Salisu played a starring role in Monaco’s hard fought 3-2 win over RC Lens away from home with the Black Stars player assisting Folarin Balogun’s goal.

In a post game interview, Salisu talked about the difficulty securing the win and stated that the team was already looking forward to the high profile game this weekend.

“We were doing well, playing our match in the first half. When we returned from the locker room, we struggled more.”

“It’s football, we can’t always be in control for 90 minutes. But the most important thing in the end is to win, and now we are already focused on the next match.”

Kylian Mbappe’s PSG lead the league with 54 points with AS Monaco ranked third with 41 points.
