Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus is confident West Ham United can win the Europa League title after winning the UEFA Europa Conference League title last season.

He said this in a pre game interview with West Ham media ahead of The Hammers English Premier League games against Brentford at the London Stadium.

West Ham is enduring a poor run of form with the London side winless in six league games but topped Group A in the Europa League with five wins in six games.

Seeing West Ham excel in Europe’s second tier competition, Kudus is bullish about his team’s chances of winning the competition saying,

“We are in Europe now and want to make an impact as we won it last year, while we also want to challenge the top six teams in the league.

Yes, 100% [we can win the UEFA Europa League]. We won the UEFA Europa Conference League last year, so we have the same mentality and approach every single game the same. It’s very possible.”

In his first season with West Ham, Kudus has six goals and two assists in 20 league games.
