Ebenezer Annan, left-back from Novi Pazar, has received a late call-up to join the Black Stars squad for upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.

Ebenezer Annan will reportedly replace Gideon Mensah who is expected to sit out the friendlies due to fitness concerns.

Annan’s journey has seen him transition from Ghana to Italy in 2020, where he embarked on his professional career with Serie A outfit Bologna, honing his skills.
Following a stint with the Primavera squad, he earned a promotion to the senior team, marking his professional debut in a Copa Italia fixture against Ternana.

Subsequently, in 2022, he embarked on a one-year loan spell with Serie D side Imolese before landing at Serbian SuperLiga club Novi Pazar for the 2023/24 season.
The fleet-footed full-back has made waves, earning recognition as the top left-back in the first half of the ongoing Serbian SuperLiga season.

Annan is expected to link up with the Black Stars camp early in the week following his participation in a league encounter against Vojvodina on Saturday.
