Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant coach, David Ocloo, has called on fans of the club to support the team than ever before.

He said this in the face of Kotoko’s poor run that has had the Porcupine Warriors lose five of six Ghana Premier League games.

Kotoko has endured a poor run since the 2023-2024 Ghana league restarted after the 2023 AFCON induced break. Kotoko have lost to the likes of Kpando Heart of Lions and Accra Lions in the process.

In his post game interview, Ocloo said luck has deserted Kotoko but took the opportunity to call on fans of the team to rally behind the team. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“We need some time, it (the win) will come. They should forgive us for such a result but they should keep supporting us and we will not disappoint them. It’s not over yet.”

“This is the time that we need them most so they shouldn’t neglect us. They should be with us, we will turn things around.”

Kotoko rank ninth in the 18 team league standings.
