He said this in his post game interview after seeing his side destroy Sheffield United 6-0 in the English Premier League with The Gunners leading 5-0 at half time. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
One of the biggest highlights of the game was Partey’s return to action for the first time since October 8, 2023 when he missed a UEFA Champions League group stage game against Sevilla.
Partey replaced Jorginho in the 64th minute and completed 30 of 34 passes while winning an aerial duel in his time on the pitch.
“Today obviously Thomas is available now to play a certain number of minutes. He needs to build that, because it was his first minutes after four months which is a long time. And then, like everybody, you need to have the right to earn the minutes” Arteta said on Partey’s return.
Arsenal has won six straight games and the win marked the fourth game in a row Arsnal scored at least four goals in a win.
