The promoter of the bout Ahmed Nureni Davis told citi sports there’s always a big challenge hosting events of this sort for the first time but he’s optimistic he will he will get it done.
“it’s a little bit difficult first time being a promoter. I am coming into this promotion with a mindset that is different from the others ,so I believe I can do this and I will. Lately people are protecting their boxers from injury so I had to go out of Ghana to get Lukeman Akinolugbade, it wasn’t easy but at the end of the day we got it done. “
Other bouts that will be on the cards include a Super Bantam Weight bout between Samuel Martei Laryeh and Vandorf Okrah as well as Daniel Otto vs Joseph Sackey. The main fighter on the night , Samuel Quaye will be fighting in the light weight division against a boxer who will be announced later.
