Head coach of Ghana’s National Female Under 20 Football Team-the Black Princesses, Yussif Basigi, has expressed how proud he is of his team after booking a spot in the final.
Ghana extended its unbeaten run in the 13th African Games by securing a 3-1 win over Senegal in the semifinals at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Black Princesses will meet Nigeria on Thursday, March 21 at 20:00 GMT at the Cape Coast Stadium in the gold medal match.
The Princesses have qualified to compete in this year’s FIFA Women’s World Under 20 World Cup and look to secure the gold medal ahead of the trip to Colombia.
Seeing Ophelia Amponsah score twice and Tracey Twum add another, the veteran coach commended the team for their performance.

Ghana is aiming to win gold in the men’s and women’s football competition at this year’s African Games with the Black Satellites taking on Uganda in the men’s final on Friday, March 22 at 20:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
