Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club assistant head coach, Abdul Rahim Bashiru, is hoping Hamza Issah’s scoring run continues for The Phobians.

He said this in a post game interview after seeing his side beat Karela United 3-1 to halt a three game losing run in the Ghana Premier League.

After conceding in the second minute through Karela’s Humid Diafe, Hearts mounted a successful comeback with Issah getting a brace and Salim Adams delivering a superb strike.

Describing Adams’ finish as a “perfect fantastic” goal, Bashiru Rahim talked about Issah’s goal scoring form and his wish to see it continue. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“He can’t be scoring in all the matches but you see, today, he scored two…he was supposed to score like four today so that’s football and I hope it will continue like this.”

21 year old (turns 22 on April 26) Issah’s brace against Karela improved his goal tally to 11 in 20 league games this season.
