Leicester City Football Club have clinched the 2023-2024 Sky Bet English Championship title after recording a 3-0 win over Preston North End.
The win sealed Leicester’s place atop the standings; beating Preston North End doubled as the coronation of The Foxes’ return to the English Premier League.
Issahaku featured in the game and registered an assist in the win by setting up Kasey McAteer’s headed goal in the 67th minute to round up the win.
His latest input improved Issahaku’s tally for the season to six goals and 13 assists in 39 league games in his loan season at Leicester from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.
Reacting to the outstanding win that sent Leicester back to the Premier League at the first attempt, the 20 year old led the celebrations with a series of Azonto dance moves.
He posted on his X (formerly Twitter) page “Job Done” with the former Real Tamale United player reportedly close to signing a permanent deal with Leicester from Sporting Lisbon.

Issahaku is in line to be named in the Black Stars squad to play against Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
