Board Members of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club have visited the team’s playing unit ahead of its big clash against archrival Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The matchup fondly dubbed “The Super 2 Clash”, kicks off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi at 15:00 GMT with both teams in dire need of a win on Sunday, May 26.
Kotoko rank 10th in the 18 team league standings while Hearts rank 12th with both teams coming off losses in the immediate past round of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League second round.
Hearts lost 1-0 at home to Aduana Stars while Kotoko lost 2-1 to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in Berekum.
Seeking to inspire the lads, Executive Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Vincent Odotei Sowah and Akwasi Agyeman visited the team during a training session.
