Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey is set to leave Arsenal before the start of the 2024-2025 season according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

The renowned transfer guru indicated this during an appearance on JD Football Podcast when speaking on Arsenal’s future plans after narrowly missing out on winning the 2023-2024 English premier League title.

Manchester City won the league with 91 points; two points more than Arsenal’s 89 point tally for its fourth league title in a row.

Speaking on the podcast, Fabrizio Romano inclined that the Black Stars player is set for an exit and The Gunners are also inching towards signing a left full back.

“They have several players lined up. There is a good chance they will bring in a new midfielder-Thomas Partey will leave, Jorginho has been extended, but I also think they want to sign a new left-back.”

In another injury blighted season, Partey played sparingly as the Gunners chased its first EPL title win in 21 years. Partey played just 16 games in all competitions in the immediate past season.
