Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Steven Mukwala, has used a plethora of words to describe his emotions over Kotoko’s loss to Berekum Chelsea.

Kotoko lost 2-1 this past weekend to Chelsea at the Berekum Golden City Park with Mukwala grabbing a goal for the Porcupine Warriors.

However, a converted penalty kick from Steven Amankona and a header in the 96th minute from Misack Afriyie completed the comeback win for Chelsea.

The loss ended Kotoko’s quest to extend its unbeaten run to four games after showing signs of recovery after a disastrous start to the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season second half.

“It was really a painful moment. We got a goal in the early minute of which we could have maintained either to win or at least get a draw. It was heartbreaking when they scored us in the dying minute. It’s really painful and I’m very furious and disappointed about that” he said to Kotoko media
