Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club goalkeeper, Frederick Asare, is confident his side will work to get a win over arch rival Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, May 26 in the Ghana Premier League.

He said this in an interview with Kotoko media ahead of the big game at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. Kotoko suffered a 2-1 loss to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in its immediate past league game.

Asare apologized to fans for the team’s poor performance this season with Kotoko ranked 10th in the league and went ahead to promise that the game will be a good one. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I can assure fans that this is going to be a fantastic game. It’s going to be a good game and we will make them happy. We will make sure that we correct some mistakes we’ve committed going into this game and do whatever we can to beat Hearts of Oak on Sunday.”
