Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has delivered an epic rant blasting Nigeria’s Men’s National Football Team head coach George Finidi for questioning his commitment to the national course.

In the wake of the online backlash from the reigning African Footballer of the Year, former Ajax Amsterdam and Super Eagles player, Finidi, has resigned as Head Coach of the national team.

He delivered the brutal assessment on Finidi’s criticism on a live stream on Instagram after Finidi reportedly questioned if Osimhen was injured enough to miss 2026 FIFA Qualifiers for Nigeria.

The Super Eagles finished in second place at the 2023 AFCON and were expected to carry the momentum into the latest qualification games for the next World Cup but the West African nation has performed poorly winning none of its four games played.

After replacing Jose Peseiro, Finidi’s team has struggled to replicate the type of performance that got Nigeria to the 2023 AFCON Final. Nigeria drew with South Africa and lost 2-1 to Benin in Osimhen’s absence in the recently honoured World Cup qualifiers.

Finidi questioned the commitment of his team including Osimhen reportedly who took to social media to air his grievances. Scroll down to watch video.
