Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has included fellow Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey in his ultimate XI team.

In an interview with West Ham media, the 23 year old picked the Arsenal midfielder who recently celebrated his 31st birthday as part of his three man midfield.

Kudus and Partey paired in Ghana’s recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic; Ghana won 2-1 and 4-3 respectively.

The West Ham player included club teammates Emerson Palmieri, Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen in his list. After picking Partey, Kudus stated,

“Yeah my countryman TP, I think I will go for him as a defensive midfielder. Calm on the ball, controls the game and I just like him.”

Kudus starred in his debut season at West Ham culminating in a second place finish in West Ham Player of the Season Award voting behind Jarrod Bowen.

On the other hand, Partey recovered from a lengthy injury to star late in Arsenal’s push to win the English Premier League title that ended in a second place finish and two points behind champions Manchester City.
