Rams Basketball Club head coach, Curlsbonny Joshua Owusu, has praised the quality of teams that competed in this year’s Betway Community Hoops.

The 2024 edition of the community based basketball tournament took place at the Dansoman SSNIT Flats Court that had Nungua Coldstore emerge winners.

Coldstore beat Bombers to win this year’s competition marking the third time Coldstore have won the tournament after picking up the trophy in previous editions held in Takoradi and Tema.

Charm Basketball, DC Keys, Kaneshie Swanlakers, Tudu Magic, Ripple Basketball Academy, Coldstore, Bombers and Rams competed in the 2024 Betway Community Hoops.

“These are invitational tournaments and well selected teams so competing with them helps restructure and correct mistakes so yes it’s a very good one especially with the teams involved” he said after seeing his side feature in the semifinals.
