Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, has stated that the club’s management and board is committed to building the best football squad possible.

He said this in his address after headlining Hearts high level contingent that received the handing over notes from contractors of Hearts Of Oak’s newly built Commercial Centre.

Togbe Afede XIV inspected the new edifice that is set to have a museum that showcases Accra Hearts of Oak’s rich history and administrative offices for the Phobia Club.

After narrowly escaping relegation via a 14th place finish, Togbe Afede XIV spoke about the club’s commitment to improve the playing body just as it has done to an extent with its infrastructure portfolio.

“Management is committed, board is committed to assembling the best squad possible. Sometimes it takes time because some constraints are beyond your control. You may want a player who is not available…to ensure that professional-wise, we are solid, management-wise we are solid, in terms of players, we are solid. We are happy that we are building strengths across all the sectors of football.”
