CAF WCL: Hasaacas Ladies drawn against Niger, Burkinabe and Nigerian opponents

Hasaacas Ladies Football Club have been drawn in the WAFU Zone B Group B standings against opponents from Niger, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.

The Sekondi side got drawn against Burkina Faso’s Omnisports Etincelle, Nigeria’s Edo Queens and Niger’s AS Garde National.

The draw was held on Wednesday, July 24 at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt to confirm the seeding for qualified teams to compete in the preliminary stage of the continental championship.

The top two teams progress from Group B to the main competition that has South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns as defending champions.

Hasaacas Ladies finished second in the maiden edition of the Champions League after losing to Sundowns in the final game in Morocco.

The Ghanaian Champions commence its campaign on August 11 against Omnisports Etincelle against Edo Queens on August 14 and AS Garde National on August 17.

The WAFU Zone B has Cote D’Ivoire’s Inter D’Abidjan, AS GNN of Benin and Ainonvi FC of Togo set to compete for a qualification spot.
