Marlins Swim Club member, Michael Arthur Crabbe-Mann, has stated that he expects to put up another top performance in this year’s Channel One Swimming Championship.

The 2024 edition comes on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 at the Borteyman Sports Complex with over 150 swimmers expected to compete across age categories ranging between Under 10 and Under 15.

After emerging as the best Male Performer in last year’s edition en route to helping Marlins win the competition with 63 medals and Crabbe-Mann is confident he can repeat his starry performance this weekend.

“I expect to get the Best Male Swimmer again this year and win a trophy for my team. (I’m) basically working on speed, endurance for every event I will do so that I will top every event. Backstroke is very easy for me, I don’t know about the others but it’s very easy for me” he said in the presence of teammate Richel Laryea who added that

“I’m ready to beat my personal best that’s the goal that I have; do better than I did the last time.”
