Ghana Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has indicated that he aims to have a better output than h had last season.
He said this in an interview with Bournemouth media after grabbing the equalizer in The Cherries 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Semenyo scored in the 86th minute deep inside the penalty box after the ball broke for him off a cross from the left to get off the mark.
After talking extensively about the level of confidence he has for the season after scoring in his first game of the 2024-2025 campaign, Semenyo added that he aims to get more than the eight goals he scored in 33 league appearances last season. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“I’m going to keep the targets (of the season) to myself, I’m definitely aiming for better than what I did last year.”
Semenyo played out the entire duration of the game as the lead man through the middle as Enes Unal is out injured and new signing Evanilson was left out of the match day squad after joining the club from FC Porto.
