Head of Sports at Citi FM and Channel One TV, Benjamin Nketsia, has stated that he is excited about the happenings that took place at the Citi FM first road show of the 2024-2025 English Premier League season.
The event took place at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill at North Ridge with football fans of the EPL gathering to witness Manchester City play Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
Man City beat Chelsea 2-0 with the defending champions getting goals from Erling Haaland and Mateo Kovacic in either half to settle the tie.
Managing Director of Citi FM, Samuel Attah-Mensah, Head of News at Citi FM, Vivian Kai Lokko, Head of Events, Frema Adunyame and Citi FM Head of Programs, Richard Mensah, were present at the event that attracted several fans of the EPL.
Speaking after the event, Benjamin Nketsia stated that the aforementioned event is the first of many to be organized to mark the EPL season.
“It’s always good first of all, to come to +233. They make the experience a very welcoming and warm one. With the road show, the fans want to feel as close to the product as possible and that’s why we do this. This is the first one so we are going to pop up at a pub near you. Just look out for those big games…those type of matches, when they come around, just know that there is a good chance that we are showing up at a pub near you.”

Can Chelsea find an equalizer against Man City or will the champions hold on?
