The 32 year old forward featured in Leicester City’s 2-1 loss to Fulham in the second week of the English Premier League’s 2024-2025 season.
Jordan Ayew came off the bench in the 63rd minute to replace Bobby Decordova-Reid at a time the game stood 1-1 with Leicester getting a goal from defender Wout Faes in the 38th minute to cancel Emile Smith Rowe’s goal in the 18th minute.
In 27 minutes, Jordan Ayew won all three ground duels, lost possession once, won two fouls and accurately delivered a cross while completing five of six passes in the game.
He attempted one shot that was off target in his first outing for The Foxes after completing the deal on Friday, August 23.

Fellow Black Stars player at Leicester City, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, played out the full duration of the contest on the back of registering an assist on his debut.

Like Jordan Ayew, Issahaku had a high win percentage rate in ground duels as he won nine of 12 ground duels and attempted a left footed strike that flew very close past the post.
