Ghana Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew has registered his debut goal and assist in his debut start for Leicester City Football Club.
Ayew scored the aforementioned marks in Leicester City’s 4-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the second round of the 2024-2025 Carabao Cup season.
Leicester’s newest recruit got the game’s first goal in the 38th minute with a brilliant strike just from outside the penalty box after working his way to the central area before unleashing the bullet that flew right into the left side of Tranmere Rovers goalkeeper Joe Murphy’s net.
He went on to assist Wilfred Ndidi to grab The Foxes third goal of the game before getting subbed off in the 72nd minute.
Jordan Ayew was deployed as the centre forward in a three man frontline for Leicester City in the absence of Jamie Vardy.

Jordan Ayew joined Leicester from Crystal Palace almost a week ago on a two year deal worth eight million pounds including add-ons and made his debut off the bench in Leicester’s 2-1 loss to Fulham at Craven Cottage.
His fine performance comes on the brink of Ghana Black Stars’ latest callup for 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger on September 5 and 9 respectively. Scroll down to watch Jordan Ayew’s debut goal for Leicester City.
