Leicester City manager, Steve Cooper, believes his team became more of a threat in its Carabao Cup tie against Tranmere Rovers thanks to Jordan Ayew’s goal.
The Black Stars forward scored his debut goal for the club after joining Leicester City on a two year deal in the 38th minute of the game.
Jordan Ayew’s goal came in a 4-0 hammering of lower tier side Tranmere in the Carabao Cup second round while his assist for Wilfred Ndidi’s goal put The Foxes on course for the big win as it put Leicester up 3-0.
Speaking in a post game interview, Steve Cooper was delighted about Jordan Ayew getting off the mark stating,
“We could have been more of a threat in the first half for all of the good positions we got into. Jordan (Ayew) made it happen with his goal, which is obviously a wonderful strike and good for him to get off the mark on his debut.”

Jordan Ayew made his Leicester City debut on Match Week 2 after his move from Palace where he played 27 minutes off the bench. Scroll down to watch Jordan Ayew’s goal against Tranmere Rovers.
