AFC Sunderland Manager, Regis Le Bris, says that he does not know when Ghana international midfielder Abdul Salis Samed will be available.
He said this in a pre-game presser as Samed continues to rehab from a muscle injury that has prevented him from featuring for The Black Cats after joining the club on loan from French Ligue 1 side RC Lens.
Sunderland take on Watford later today in the EFL Championship but the combative midfielder won’t be involved due to injury and Sunderland’s manager stated that he doesn’t know when the Black Stars midfielder will return to competitive action.
“I don’t know exactly when Salis will be available to play. “He is feeling good but with the kind of injury he is coming back from, if he reaches a certain level of intensity then it could provoke another injury” he said before concluding his statement with a positive note that
“At the moment we don’t know exactly when he will be fit, but I think it will probably be after the international break.”
