Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah’s transfer nightmare looks to be over after the Ghanaian international featured in his second game in a row after the controversial series of incidents that happened to close out the past month.

Nuamah played 81 minutes in Olympique Lyon’s 2-0 win over Olympiacos after Nuamah played 15 minutes off the bench in Lyon’s 3-2 loss to Olympique Marseille this past weekend.

The former FC Norsdjaelland player was set to move to English Premier League side Fulham but the deal was cancelled due to Nuamah’s reluctance to sign the contract.

Reports from French football outlet L’Equipe indicated that Nuamah’s whereabouts in London were unknown as the deal was close to being completed. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Further details reveled that Nuamah cried throughout the process as he preferred to stay at Lyon after delivering a solid but unspectacular debut season with the French side.

In 81 minutes against Greek side Olympiacos, Nuamah registered an interception, won two of six ground duels completed 23 out of 25 pass attempts and had a shot on target.
