Vision Football Club head coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, has stated that his team wasn’t afraid of its opponents in its debut Ghana Premier League game but admitted that his side was nervous.

He said this after Vision FC drew goalless against Berekum Chelsea at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex as part of the opening round of games in the 2024-2025 GPL season.

Berekum Chelsea finished third in the GPL last season and played out the competitive draw in Tema and Kweku Agyemang believes his team was nervous despite picking up its first points in the Ghanaian top flight.

“I think that every time we won that ball, the organization up front didn’t really go well, our finishing wasn’t tight enough so we couldn’t actually score but if you look at the entire game…Vision dominated. You can say that each and every individual was a little bit nervous.”

Vision FC Head Coach Nana Kweku Agyemang

“Most of the boys, not just some of them, it’s just a few of them, just a couple of them that have actually played in the Premiership before so it’s a bigger stage for all of us. Fear? No. Nervous? Yes.”
