Barcelona Atletic midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah has described himself as a player whose style mimics Barcelona star winger Lamine Yamal.
Issah said this in an interview with the B Team of the Blaugrana side after his headline move from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC.
The 18 year old left Dreams after starring in his two year run with the Still Believe Club where he won the MTN FA Cup and led Dreams to a shock semifinal berth in its debut campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking after he was unveiled at the Johan Cruyff Stadium alongside fellow Ghanaian player David Oduro, Issah associated his play style to that of Yamal who has four assists and a goal in four La Liga games this season after excelling in Spain’s 2024 Euros triumph.
“It’s a great feeling, a massive joy for me. I have been supporting this club for a long time since childhood and me being here, me being part of this club, I’m very grateful…and I can’t wait to get started.”
“I describe myself as a Lamine Yamal type of play(er). Left footed who likes shooting, attacking more, that’s how Aziz is.” Scroll down to watch video.
