Former Accra Lions defender David Oduro has talked about how much his move to FC Barcelona means to him. He said this in an interview after joining Barcelona Atletic-Barcelona’s B Team- from the Ghana Premier League side.
After impressing in the Ghanaian top flight and aiding Lions finish second in the 18 team league standings, the 18 year old voiced the determination he has to establish himself in the main team.
He said this after he was unveiled at the Johan Cruyff Stadium alongside fellow Ghanaian player Aziz Abdul Issah who joined the club from Dreams FC. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“Now that I’m here, I’m going to work hard to be able to play for the first team. On the field, I’m determined to do what I have to do. It means a lot to me. Like I said earlier, Barcelona has always been the club I support since I was a child and now that I’m here, I will work hard to establish myself very well.”
