Former Bechem United winger Clinton Duodu has described his move to Apollon Limassol as an important step in his career.

He said this in his first official interview with the Cypriot club after joining on a two year deal having spent four years with Ghana Premier League club, Bechem United. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

The former Ghana Under 20 Men’s National Football Team (Black Satellites) player scored seven goals and added three assists in 96 appearances for Bechem United.

“Apollo is a great opportunity for me as it is an important step in my career.  I want to thank Apollo for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to prove that I can succeed in football.”

“I have high expectations of myself and the team. Coming here, I believe that with the infrastructure, the level and the excellent facilities that Apollo has, I will be able to develop even more as a footballer.”

Limassol ranks eighth in the 14 team Cypriot league with a league game against AEL scheduled for Sunday, September 15.
