Bechem United Football Club winger Clinton Duodu has joined Cypriot club Apollon Limassol on a two year deal.

Duodu joins Limassol with his deal expected to end in May 2027 after the 19 year old’s four year run with the Ghana Premier League side.

The skillful winger has been one of the highly rated young footballers in Ghana’s top flight division for the past couple of seasons. Duodu plays predominantly as a right winger but can play as a secondary striker and left winger.

Like Duodu, other highly rated youngsters have moved out of the GPL recently; David Oduro of Accra Lions and Abdul Aziz Issah of Dreams FC have joined FC Barcelona’s Academy and B Team respectively. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Duodu made 96 appearances in all for Bechem United and registered seven goals and three assists in the process and has featured in Ghana’s Under 20 side, the Black Satellites.

Limassol is ranked eighth in the Cypriot League standings after registering a win and a loss two games into the 2024-2025 season and its recent win came via a 2-1 result over Anorthosis Famagusta.
