Medeama Head Coach Nebojsa Kapor

Medeama Sporting Club head coach, Nebojsa Kapor, says the performance of his team will get better with time but is comfortable winning games in the meantime.

He said this in his post game presser after Medeama bagged a 1-0 win over Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League 2024-2025 season opener at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.

After speaking extensively about how he expected Lions to be a tough outing, which they were, Kapor addressed concerns about his team’s performance in the game. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“You also must be patient and give them time. I’m very happy we didn’t perform perfect. How many times all of you (media) ask me (last season), Coach excellent performance but results didn’t come. Now results have come and we will fix our performance I’m sure.”

Bernardinho Tetteh scored the winning goal for Medeama after converting a penalty kick attempt against Accra Lions in the 56th minute.

After finishing a disappointing eighth spot in its title defence campaign last season, Medeama are under pressure to improve this season.
