In the aftermath of losing the Champion of Champions Cup, head coach of Nsoatreman FC, Yaw Preko, has defended his decision to rotate his squad for the game.

He said this to Max TV after watching his side lose 1-0 to Samartex at the TNA Stadium to miss out on winning Ghana’s Super Cup.

Citing competing in multiple competitions this season including the CAF Confederation Cup, Yaw Preko stated that some of his players were fatigued and needed to be rested.

“It’s a squad I want everybody to be part of because we are going to play the league, we’re going to play the FA Cup, we’re going to play the CAF and we need everybody too so I did a lot of changes in the first half. I see fatigue in majority of the boys so I had to patch up with some of the boys. So I’m okay with what I did.”
