Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is expected to be present at this year’s CAF Coaches Symposium in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
The event will take place in the Ivorian economic capital on September 12 and September 13 and discussions will focus heavily on the 2023 AFCON that was held in the West African nation earlier this year.
Addo replaced Chris Hughton as Black Stars head coach after Ghana exited the 2023 AFCON at the group stage without registering a win in three games.
The event is expected to attract top coaches including Pedro Goncalves of Angola, Emerse Fae of Cote D’Ivoire, Collin Benjamin of Namibia and Avram Grant of Zambia.
Addo is under pressure following a poor start to the Black Stars 2025 AFCON qualifiers with Ghana losing 1-0 to Angola and drawing 1-1 with Niger with a very poor display in Morocco.
Ghana ranks third in Group F with just a point and trails second placed Sudan (three points) and Angola (six points). The Black Stars take on Sudan on October 11 and October 15 respectively in the next round of qualifiers.
