Black Stars head coach Otto Addo believes that his technical staff has come with a solution to handle the absence of Thomas Partey for crucial ties against Sudan.
Ghana is set to take on Sudan in a double header on Thursday, October 10 at 16:00 GMT in Accra and October 14 in Benghazi, Libya.
Otto Addo confirmed that Mohammed Kudus will captain the team in Partey’s absence. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Addressing the media in a pre-game presser, Otto Addo stated that his focus is mainly on the players he has in camp and not about those who aren’t present.

“This is my job. We have different solutions how we could play and we as a staff discussed it and I chose one at the end and I’m very very sure it will work. We are not thinking too much about the players not here, it’s more about the players which are here, their qualities and how we can inspire them to perform.”

Ghana trails Sudan in Group F by two points. The Black Stars have just a point from two 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger. Scroll down to watch video.
