Medeama Sporting Club head coach, Nebojsa Kapor, has dismissed talk of relief after guiding his team to a win. Medeama beat Nations FC 1-0 at the TNA Stadium with Bernardinho Tetteh scoring in the 15th minute for the win.
The Yellow and Mauve went into the game without a win in three league outings after goalless draws against Heart of Lions and Samartex and a 2-0 loss to Bechem United.
Speaking after the game, Kapor indicated that he wasn’t under pressure for him to feel relieved after the win by stating,
“My job is only to work…our job is always very difficult. I don’t pay attention to this (talk of pressure). For me, like I have said here many times, for me, pressure is always comes every day. I understand my players very well and I am very happy because of them. Other things aren’t in my hands and I don’t pay attention to them.”
The win over Nations move Medeama to third place in the 18 team league standings at the time of writing. Scroll down to watch Kapor interview.
