Hamza Issah scored his second goal of the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season to hand Accra Hearts of Oak a hard fought 2-1 win over Young Apostles in Wenchi.
Issah scored in the 86th minute mere moments after Young Apostles equalized through Samuel Prempeh’s wonderful strike.
Prempeh made contact with the ball off a cross from the right side via an acrobatic move just outside the penalty and giving Hearts goalkeeper Benjamin Asare zero chance to stop the brilliant effort from going in to register an early goal of the season contender.
Issah’s goal came off a second assist from midfielder Saani Mohammed when the former found himself inside the box to steer the ball into the net.
After a very poor start to the season with two losses in a row, Hearts have improved to register two wins and two draws in the past four games.
Hamza Issah netted the decisive goal to secure a 2-1 away victory for Hearts of Oak over Young Apostles.🔥
