Legon Cities remain winless seven games into the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season but head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin is still upbeat about his team’s chances of beating Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.

Fabin’s team drew goalless with Accra Lions at the University of Ghana Stadium; the club has two draws and five losses this season.

In a largely drab match that had just a total of two corners and three combined goal attempts, Accra Lions picked their fifth drawn result with a win and a loss in seven games.

Speaking in a post-game interview, Legon Cities head coach still expressed optimism about his team’s chances of recording its first win of the season.

“Yes, Kotoko are on form but it’s still another 90 minutes to fight and try and win” Fabin said ahead of the Wednesday, October 30 game against the Porcupine Warriors at 19:00 GMT.
