Le Havre Athletic Club midfielder Yassine Kechta has praised Black Stars player Andre Dede Ayew for his football qualities especially his hold up play.
He said this in a post-game interview after Le Havre lost 1-0 to Stade Rennes with the game marking back to back losses for The Mariners after losing 4-0 to Olympique Lyon.
Former Olympique Marseille player Ayew, lasted the entire duration of the game and completed 14 of 17 passes while winning two of three ground duels but Kechta was more impressed with Ayew’s holdup play stating, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“We know that Andre (Ayew) he can help us on many things particularly on keeping possession as we saw this evening, he kept a lot of balls and that helps us enormously because we also have the time to go up (field) and help him create opportunities and that is very important.”
Two games into his second tenure with Le Havre, Dede Ayew is yet to score.
