Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), has been named the new Board Chairman of King Faisal Football Club, a Division One team based in Kumasi.
The club announced his appointment on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
This decision is intended to boost the club’s leadership and governance framework, as management is confident that Dr. Abdul-Hamid’s extensive background in politics, academia, communication, and business leadership will greatly benefit the organization.
In a statement, King Faisal FC expressed enthusiasm about the positive contributions they expect him to bring to the club’s development and long-term success.
