The German physiotherapy company Kanzlsperger, in collaboration with their partner, Professor Jonathan Quartey, has made a donation to the Ghanaian football club Accra Shooting Stars.
The Achimota-based club received a range of injury recovery products following their Thursday morning training session.

Professor Quartey, known for his work with various Ghanaian national football teams, facilitated the donation as part of a strong partnership with Accra Shooting Stars.

He shared that the club’s commitment to providing top-quality physical care for its players motivated him to make them the first club in Ghana to receive these products, which are expected to enhance the team’s medical and physiotherapy support.

“I have worked with some of the players. The club has been particular about their physiotherapy. Shooting Stars are the first team to receive these items. On behalf of Kanzlsperger I present these products to the club,” Prof Quartey said as he presented the items.
The items were presented in the presence of club officials and players, with Vice President Isaac Ansah accepting the donation on behalf of the club.

“The health and wellbeing of the players is of concern for us. Obviously, being the first team in Ghana to receive these products, it will be of great benefit to our players. I mean we have employed a full-time physio and this should tell you how important that is to us,” said Mr Ansah, who also expressed gratitude to Prof Quartey and Zaklspeger.
Accra Shooting Stars have established themselves as one of the leading teams in Ghana’s lower leagues, consistently producing players who have recently advanced to European clubs.
